Radiesse Renewal Skin Tightening

Welcome to Revive Medical Spa

What is Radiesse Renewal?

At Revive Medical Spa, we are dedicated to providing advanced aesthetic treatments that enhance your natural beauty and restore youthful vitality. One of our premier offerings is the Radiesse Renewal Skin Tightening procedure, a non-surgical solution designed to improve skin laxity and quality across various areas of the face and body.

Radiesse® is a renowned dermal filler composed of calcium hydroxylapatite, a substance naturally found in the body. Traditionally used to restore volume and smooth wrinkles, Radiesse® also stimulates collagen production, essential for maintaining skin firmness and elasticity. When combined with sterile saline and lidocaine, Radiesse® transitions from a volumizing filler to a biostimulator, promoting collagen and elastin production for comprehensive skin rejuvenation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need a consultation before my Radiesse injection?

We always complete a thorough consultation prior to treatment. We will be sure to discuss what to expect, post-care instructions, and ensure we fully understand your aesthetic goals. We may also discuss other complementary treatments or developing a long-term aesthetic care plan! There is usually time to be treated after your consultation if you desire to proceed.

Do men get Radiesse?

We routinely see male patients for Radiesse in Fairbanks to address their various aesthetic concerns. Injectables can be a very quick, effective, and noninvasive way to treat what’s bothering you! If you’re interested in learning more about what treatments may be best for you, feel free to use our Virtual Consultation Tool for instant, personalized feedback.

Is there downtime with Radiesse?

After a Radiesse injection, you’ll be able to return to your normal activities immediately. However, you may experience some “social downtime” due to swelling or bruising. Your injector will provide you with post-care instructions to help minimize these side effects.

What is Radiesse Renewal and how does it work?

Radiesse Renewal refers to the use of diluted Radiesse® as a biostimulator rather than just a traditional volumizing filler. When mixed with sterile saline and lidocaine, Radiesse® is injected to stimulate collagen production, improving skin quality, laxity, and texture on the face, neck, and body. Unlike regular dermal fillers that add volume, Radiesse Renewal triggers the body’s natural collagen production, leading to long-term skin rejuvenation. Commonly used on the neck, décolletage, buttocks, thighs, arms, abdomen, knees, and elbows, it can also smooth cellulite-induced irregularities and improve overall skin tightness.

What areas do you commonly treat with Radiesse Renewal?

Our Radiesse® Renewal Skin Tightening treatment is versatile, effectively addressing skin laxity and quality in multiple regions, including:

  • Neck and Décolletage: Enhances skin firmness and reduces crepiness.
  • Arms: Improves skin texture and tightness.
  • Abdomen: Addresses laxity, contributing to a firmer appearance.
  • Chin, wrinkles and lines
  • Buttocks and Thighs: Smooths cellulite-induced irregularities, enhancing body contours.
  • Knees and Elbows: Reduces sagging and improves skin quality
How long does Radiesse last?

Radiesse can last longer than many other dermal fillers (up to 1 year). European studies found that the effects of a Radiesse injection can last up to 2 years! Usually, the amount of time Radiesse lasts will depend on the degree of muscle movement in the treated area.

How soon will I see results after Radiesse Renewal?

Visible improvements typically emerge approximately four weeks after the initial treatment. Most patients require a series of sessions to achieve optimal results.

Does it hurt to get Radiesse injections?

Before a Radiesse injection, we usually apply a topical anesthetic. Therefore, most patients experience only a mild discomfort. Certain injection sites may be prone to bruising and swelling, though. We’ll be sure to walk you through everything to expect from a Radiesse injection during your initial consultation! We’ll also provide you with post-treatment instructions on how to specifically minimize this potential bruising and swelling.

Who injects the Radiesse?

In order to deliver results you love—and results we’re proud of—we only allow our most highly educated, extensively trained and licensed medical staff to perform Radiesse injections.

Is Radiesse approved by the FDA?

Yes. Radiesse is FDA-approved for the long-lasting correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, as well as facial fat loss, and overall volume loss in the back of the hands. It is widely considered to be safe and has been used in the aesthetic industry for years to address various skin concerns. In fact, it’s the only filler in the United States that’s FDA approved specifically for use in the backs of the hands! We are happy to answer any additional questions you have about the safety of your procedure to make sure you feel totally safe and comfortable in our care.
