What is Belotero Balance?

Belotero Balance is a hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler that is injected into the face to smooth out or fill in facial lines and folds. This filler treats deep wrinkles, the nasolabial folds (the lines that run from the nostrils to the corner of mouth), acne scars and thin lips. The hyaluronic acid gel in Belotero Balance acts like a sponge, holding water to fill in wrinkles and folds.

What to expect during treatments

At Revive Medical Spa in Fairbanks, Alaska, we use a very fine needle to inject Belotero Balance into the target areas to smooth and fill in wrinkles on the spot. Treatments are often single sessions and the amount of injectable gel that is used will depend on your specific needs and facial structure. The pain will be similar to any other injection treatment, but we can provide a topical anesthetic to minimize your discomfort. Patients may experience mild swelling, redness and discomfort at the sites of the injections, but these symptoms usually fade within a few hours to a few days.

What to expect from the results

The results are immediate and usually last several months and up to half a year.* Once your appointment is over, you will be able to return your normal activities as soon as you walk out the door; there is no downtime. You may notice a natural rejuvenation of the skin, with added volume and youthfulness.
