ThreeForMe treatments
ICON allows us to provide ThreeForMe treatments, which address three skin concerns at once: facial veins, sun damage and wrinkles. The procedure is performed using 3 handpieces. The first pass uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to address skin discoloration to give you a more balanced look.* Common discolorations include age spots (brown spots) and sun damage like freckles. This step can also treat rosacea, facial veins and spider veins. With the second pass, we will use a “microbeam” laser technology to gently renew your skin by adding smoothness.* The microbeam laser stimulates new elastin and collagen growth, which helps to add support to your skin.* For deeper lines, we use a specialized 1540nm extra deep fractional laser to treat scars and uneven texture. With an improved skin structure, you will see a reduction in wrinkles, fine lines, scars and other imperfections.*
Laser hair reduction
ICON hair reduction treatments target the root of unwanted active hair follicles, meaning several sessions are needed to give you the perpetually smooth skin you desire.* The laser beam passes through the skin targets active hair follicles. Laser energy delivers permanent thermal damage to the hair follicle, preventing future hair growth.* This treatment can be used on most areas of the body, including the arms, legs, chest, back, stomach, neck, face and shoulders.
IPL
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) photorejuvenation uses light and heat energy to target particular areas of the skin. Initially, light is introduced to the skin in many wavelengths. As it penetrates the skin, that light is converted to heat. The heat is strong enough to damage specific chromophores (parts of the skin that absorb light). Those chromophores are related to certain skin conditions such as unwanted pigmentation or facial veins, thereby reducing them.
